The Y-OQ is a standardized questionnaire used across the therapeutic field to evaluate a teen’s mental health. This questionnaire takes approximately 8 minutes to complete and consists of 64 questions.
Parents answer questions about their teen’s behaviors, emotions, and challenges, providing a comprehensive view of how their teen compares to others in the same age group. This tool helps identify areas where your teen might be struggling and can highlight whether residential treatment could be beneficial.
Parents fill out the Y-OQ to gain clarity about their teen’s mental health. It’s normal to feel uncertain about whether your teen’s challenges are typical for their age or if they might need additional support. This assessment removes the guesswork by providing measurable insights into your teen’s emotional and behavioral functioning.
By completing the Y-OQ, you will:
- Understand Your Teen’s Mental Health Better: Learn how your teen’s behaviors and emotions compare to others in their age group.
