Richard Davidson, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who received his medical degree from George Washington University in 1978. Following his internship, he spent his first six years as a physician providing primary care. Dr. Davidson returned to his schooling to complete his psychiatry residency at the University of Utah. He has spent over twenty years providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents in both the private and public sectors. He served as the first medical director of the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry program at McKay Dee Hospital. In addition to consulting at Waypoint Academy, he is currently serving as the medical director at Weber Human Services in Ogden, Utah. Dr. Davidson is a retired flight surgeon from the United States Air Force Reserve. He enjoys bicycling, hiking, and spends a great deal of time with his wife and twelve grandchildren.
Bart was born and raised here in the beautiful state of Utah. He attended Weber State University for his undergraduate work and then attained his graduate degree as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from the University of Utah. Bart has worked for many years in the adult inpatient setting attending to various treatment aspects and has developed a greater understanding of mental illness. He presently enjoys working with adults and teens on an outpatient basis. Bart finds pleasure in helping them work through their challenges and adversities in life. As a local of this beautiful valley, he enjoys spending his free time with his amazing wife and three wonderful children. Bart grew up enjoying sports and the outdoors, but his true passions include fishing, hunting, and spending time in the mountains.
Tiffanie was born and raised in Pleasant View, Utah. In her early twenties, Tiffanie spent time in Quito, Ecuador where she became fluent in Spanish and acquired a love for traveling abroad and meeting new people. Tiffanie graduated from Weber state in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and Chemistry. She then continued her education at the University of Utah where she received a second Bachelor's degree in Nursing and subsequently a Masters of Nursing in 2005. Tiffanie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and works part-time at a community health center in Ogden where she practices family medicine. Prior to working at the community health center, Tiffanie worked at McKay Dee Hospital in the High Observation Unit, Intermediate Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit and Emergency room. She enjoyed the wide array of experiences and the people she was able to work with and care for. Tiffanie currently lives in the Ogden Valley with her husband and three young girls. As a family, they enjoy playing soccer, snow skiing, water skiing and camping.
